EU Government decided to close the EU zone and prohibit non-EU citizens to enter the Euro-Zone. Only specific authorisations will allow entrance. All European citizens willing to come home will be assisted until Friday March 20th 2020.

FRANCE – AMA Overseas – Paris

France in lockdown. Only people with society / health / security critical functions allowed to leave homes, else special written permit required. AMA Overseas / Africa Ports & Airports Paris offices closed. All staff working from Home. Some delays in response to be expected.

BELGIUM – LUXEMBURG – THE NETHERLANDS. – AFRICA PORTS & AIRPORTS BENELUX BVBA

Following the decisions of the Belgian government effective 18/3-12:00 hrs citizens are prohibited to leave home. Only people with society / health / security critical functions are exempted. Schools, shops, Hotels & Restaurants and events exceeding 5 people are prohibited. Social distance of 1,5 meter is always to be respected . Supermarkets, bakery’s, butcher’s and pharmacies are open however entrance is regulated to max. 1 person per 10 Sqm.

Office Staff encouraged to work from home. No delays in operations expected yet. Warehouse Teams and shifts re-organised to maintain services as normal although some delays can be expected.

MOROCO – APAA MAROC

In Morocco the restaurant/bars are closed since 6pm March 16th and until further notice, in addition to schools…colleges… All staff can work from home. Minor delays in responding are expected.

MALI – AFRICA PORTS & AIRPORTS MALI

All flights to and from Bamako are suspended. Public gatherings of more than 50 people are prohibited. All schools and public places such as restaurants, shops except for food are closed. Africa Ports & Airports staff remains operational until further.

GUINEE – AMA Guinee / AFRICA PORTS & AIRPORTS GUINEE / GETMA GUINEE

To date, no specific measures have been taken in Guinea, apart from common sense hygiene measures (hand washing, hydro-alcoholic gel, avoiding contact), our activities are functioning normally in the current difficult context. All commercial flights are suspended effective March 19th

The weekend (starting Thursday 19 March) will most certainly be deeply disturbed by the social unrest linked to the parliamentary elections and the constitutional referendum scheduled for Sunday 22 March, which the opposition is calling for a boycott and prevention.

GUINEA-BISSAU – AFRICA PORTO & AEROPORTO S.A

Guinea Bissau has no confirmed cases of COVID-19 within its borders.

No travel restrictions have been implemented in response to COVID-19. Authorities are strengthening measures put in place during the 2014-2016 Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Health care personnel check the temperature of arriving passengers at Osvaldo Viera International Airport.

SENEGAL – AFRICA PORTS & AIRPORTS S.A

Senegal imposed travel restrictions, banned cruise ships, and closed schools for three weeks in response to the coronavirus. They also banned public gatherings for a month, including Muslim and Christian pilgrimages. Office staff attends to business from home.
